Leader Focus is a Korean news website that wanted to create a new logo and homepage banner to enhance its brand identity. The goal was to design a visually appealing and professional look that aligns with the platform's vision and target audience.

Process & Design Approach
Logo Design
- Explored multiple logo concepts that blend modern typography with a sleek, minimalistic approach.
- Provided three different variations for the client to choose from.
- The client selected Option B, featuring a combination of English text and a simple icon.
- For the final version, the client requested to incorporate Hangul characters instead of English text to better reflect the Korean identity of the brand.
Homepage Banner Design
- Designed four different banner styles to test various aesthetics and visual messaging.
- Ensured the designs aligned with the platform’s branding while maintaining clarity and engagement.
- The client ultimately selected Option B for the homepage banner, which features a bold headline, a structured layout, and a professional yet modern visual appeal.
Challenges & Solutions
- Balancing Modern and Traditional Elements: The challenge was to create a logo that feels modern yet remains culturally relevant. By integrating Hangul typography into the final design, we achieved this balance.
- Optimizing Banner Readability: Since banners serve as a key visual for homepage visitors, we used a strong color contrast, structured alignment, and clear typography to enhance readability.
Final Outcome
- A finalized Hangul-based logo that strengthens the brand’s identity and Korean heritage.

Conclusion
This project showcased my ability to design impactful visual elements that align with a brand’s identity. By closely collaborating with the client and iterating based on feedback, I delivered a final product that enhances Leader Focus’s online presence.
